In your groups discuss some of the commonalities you share in your educational experience, maybe some differences?Share some of the experiences you will never forget.
Antonio Estevane, Samantha A Pena- What kept Tony from his educational experience is never giving enough effort and being responsible. What kept Samantha going in her educational experience was her parents not having enough income in the house, but still being able to care for us and getting us things we needed for our education.
Both me and Ixzayanne feel our motivation to continue is to be successful in life. To have the ability to live life without struggle. As well be able to make those we care and love proud.
Lilli,JJ, Sarah- having a instructor single you out in front of other students due to not know a question then sending you out of class for not knowing the answer. As having another student not know the answer and they just get corrected and not taken out of class.
Emmanuel,Ramon,Alexis we are all motivated to get a degree in criminal justice. we all like school for one reason and that was just to hang out with friends and get out of the house. but as we grow we have come to understand how important our education is and when are in it for the long run.
Myriam Martinez,Kevin Curiel- Some commonalities that we share are coming from mexico and having to learn the english language.Kevin, having come into the U.S. he entered elementary school in 4th grade. Myriam, coming into the U.S. and starting kindergarden.
Rogelio Cantu, Ixcel Guzman, Julio Cardona motivational experiences coming from families that have worked in the fields and it shows you that they work day in and day out to have what they have and pushes you to do better and accomplish your goals. coming from a small school where teachers focus on you and want the best for you but others don't think you will go far because the type of school you come from. Motivation will strive you to do the best of your ability
Abel Martinez ,Brenda Cardenas and Daniela Barrera Our team is mixed with different educational backgrounds one of our group members didn't have access to technology she would have to sit down and read books and for me growing up i did have access to all the technology and i just google everything. other than that we do have a couple of similarities were all going back to school after working and not being satisfied with our work but we need to combine work and studying.school makes us feel good about ourselfs
Johnny Ayala : Returning after ten years. My sons motivated me to come back to school and pursue a career in coaching. I remind myself to stay humble and relentless.
Norene Reyes :Dad always telling me to pursue my dreams. My dad's been working in the same company for thirty years and there's not many opportunities for advancement unless you have a degree.
Kevin Mejia : My uncle graduated with a BA in Biology. Seeing how well it's helped him has motivated me to continue my education.
